ProLysES - the Prokaryotic Lysis Enzymes Site was developed by the Bioinformatics Research Group of the Centre for Gene Analysis & Technology and the Malaysia Genome Institute, Malaysia, based at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and is hosted by the National Bioinformatics & Biotechnology Network (NBBnet), Malaysia. This portal was formerly operated as the Bacterial Proteases Website. ProLysES is integrated with ProLysED - the Prokaryotic Lysis Enzymes Database. This site strives to serve as a comprehensive resource on the subject of bacterial (prokaryotic) proteases. ProLysES/ProLysED is under constant development and annotation. ProLysED is a freely browsable using the Demo account. Certain services will require user registration. Emails supplied during registeration will be used only for return of requested analysis results and announcements of major updates or errors.
